one random style i've been playing with. printing, cutting out, stenciling, drawing. this is not a finished version but something i feel like putting up before i go make some oatmeal
info on the piece itself, drawn from a photo of a girl and i at her prom. She's up in canada, at college, 500 miles away. Strangely enough after beginning this she told me she had drawn a picture from the same photo.
it's been so long since i've seen something like this.
i love pretty much everything about it. the harsh scribbles complement perfectly the couple of patterns and textures you have used here.
i just love the chaos in the background and how you've emphasised the main drawing. as a matter of interest, for how long were you working on this?
